Doctor of Education – Educational 领导 (Ed.D.)

Cohorts for the Doctor of Education in Educational 领导 program begin in the first summer session and take two courses per semester. Courses are delivered entirely online.

Deadline to apply for summer cohorts is March 1.

Application Process:

Interested candidates must follow the below procedures.  All application materials must be submitted by March 1.

  1. Apply:  Application should be made online 在这里.

  2. Send official undergraduate and graduate transcripts to:

    Please note: FSU alumni do not need to send FSU transcripts as FSU Office of Graduate Services will have access to alumni transcripts.  However, all transcripts outside of FSU must be sent.

     

  3. 提交 supplemental application materials that include:

  • 3引用:  At the time of application you will be asked to provide names and contact information for three references.  Each reference will be emailed an electronic reference form for completion.  If you are applying via paper application, you should submit written letters from each reference.  It is strongly encouraged for you to apply electronically.  At least one reference should be from current employer/supervisor – exceptions must be justified.

  • Statement of Purpose: At the time of application, applicants will upload a statement of purpose document (word or pdf document preferred). Applicants submitting via paper application should send documents via US postal service. The statement of purpose should include: 
    Briefly describe your background, summary of relevant job experience and education, most significant accomplishments, key personal experiences that have contributed to your commitment to work in the field of education or education related issues, your qualifications for the program and objectives for professional career: Describe your strengths and discuss why you feel you would be a candidate for this program. Describe how the Ed.D. program will help you achieve your career goals and aspirations. Describe your areas of interest that this degree will help you pursue.

面试: After all application documents have been received, selected candidates will be required to participate in an interview and writing prompt.  Interviews are generally scheduled in Spring beginning in March.
